For Coralville City Council

Bringing Scientific Expertise and Accountability to Local Government

Election Day: November 4, 2025

Vote for experience, transparency, and accountability

A Message to Coralville Voters

Why I'm Running

After 40+ years as an analytical chemist and director of proteomics at the University of Iowa, I've seen how proper oversight and stage-gated processes prevent costly mistakes and ensure accountability.

The recent Flock Security surveillance contract—signed without City Council knowledge—demonstrates exactly why we need experienced leadership that demands transparency and proper review before major decisions are made.

Coralville deserves a City Council that asks hard questions, reviews contracts thoroughly, and puts taxpayer interests first.

My Five Priorities for Coralville

Transparent Governance

No more surprise contracts. Every major decision requires public review and Council approval.

Stage-Gated Management

Run city projects like successful businesses—with checkpoints and accountability.

Infrastructure First

Prioritize Phase 1 infrastructure: water quality, roads, and essential services.

Water Quality

Apply scientific expertise to monitoring and improving our water supply.

Economic Accountability

Keep tax dollars working locally, not flowing to Silicon Valley corporations.
